Now it it’s 18th year, AND taken World-wide, it was created by an organization called Alley Cat Allies to raise awareness about feral cats (also called “community cats”), to promote Trap-Neuter-Return practices, and to empower & mobilize the millions of compassionate Americans to care for them.

Sunday, October 27th, is National Black Cat Day.
Don’t be superstitious! October 27 may be National Black Cat Day, but it is all about celebrating the beauty of these sleek creatures. While this time of year black cats may decorate many thresholds for Halloween and windows for spooky decor, these felines deserve the love and attention just as much as their tabby counterparts. Old notions have given these furry critters a bad reputation. National Black Cat Day is about turning that reputation around.
Show your mini black panther some extra special love today!
Tuesday, October 29th is National Cat Day.
It is a day to celebrate all things CAT!! =^..^=
National Cat Day is observed each year on October 29th. It was founded to help the public recognize the number of cats that need to be rescued. The day also encourages cat lovers to celebrate the cats in their lives, and for the unconditional love & companionship that they bestow upon their owners.
